Traffic Distribution System for Tune

What is the project about?

Traffic Distribution System for Tune is a Laravel-powered platform that integrates with TUNE’s affiliate program tracking SaaS via the API. I scoped and led the product: the goal was to extend TUNE’s functionality, give better control over click flow, and enable proactive campaign optimisation. The team built a JavaScript widget that affiliates embed on their websites and mobile apps, powered by the platform’s API—so network owners and their partners get an offer-wall and widget experience that Tune doesn’t provide out of the box. There are no ready-made solutions for this; we built it from scratch.

What’s unique about it?

I defined the product and architecture. The team implemented the platform in PHP/Laravel and applied PageSpeed best practices so the widget scores 95–99 on desktop and mobile—loading resources in the right order and converting images on the fly to keep size and load time down. That performance helps click-through and conversions. The widget is now on about 100 affiliate sites and apps, generating around 1M views and 70K clicks per day. The combination of API integration, controlled click flow, and a fast, embeddable widget is what makes Traffic Distribution System for Tune stand out.

The role of the team

I managed the effort and owned scoping, product direction, and architecture. The team built the Laravel platform, the TUNE API integration, and the widget under that design, and applied the performance optimisations that keep the widget fast at scale.

Conclusions

Leading Traffic Distribution System for Tune showed that with clear scoping and the right architecture, you can fill a real gap: offer-wall and widget functionality for Tune-based affiliate networks, with tight control over click flow and campaign optimisation, and a high-performance widget that affiliates actually use—about 70K clicks a day across ~100 properties.
